Read the story below and help the child find the correct answers.

One day a king and his minister were walking in the royal gardens when they saw a number of crows on the trees. The king asked his minister if he could tell him how many crows were there in the kingdom. The minister was very smart, so he said that there were ninety-five thousand, four hundred and sixty-three crows in the kingdom.”

The king looked at the minister with amazement. He asked the minister how he knew this.

“I am pretty sure your majesty. You can get the crows counted,” the minister said, confidently.

“What if there are fewer crows than what you have said?” the king asked.

“It means that some crows have gone to meet their relatives in the neighboring kingdoms.”

The king knew that his minister was right, yet he asked, “What if there are more crows than the number you have said?”

“Well, in that case, crows from other kingdoms have come to visit their relatives in our kingdom.”
